Fifis Legend tipped to win the Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy Final
Fifis Legend is expected to prevail in the Grade OR, £400 Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy Final at Nottingham in England on Monday, July 2, 2012.
The 500 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 21:22 GMT, and a total of six quality hounds will be up against each other. Stamina will be crucial today, as the overall distance to cover is quite long.
Although, the competition will be tough, there will be only one winner in the end. That runner could be Fifis Legend, as he is in very good shape right now, and has got a decent stamina, which will help him get the attention of the bettors.
The C. Allsopp’s trainee does not have a lot of experience, but his performances in Grade OR events have been pretty decent. He made his debut in January, 2012, with a few trial events and performed brilliantly in them.
The fawn dog took part in his first Grade OR event at the end of January, and was considered as the top contender to win the race.
He entered the race with a starting price of 5 to 4, and stormed to victory by four lengths. No one was able to match his skills, as he dominated right from the start.
Cashen Legend’s son, out of Shakira Live, kept on performing decently in his next few races, and is still carrying a very good momentum. He finished as a runner-up in his previous race in the OR category. This was his first ever outing at Nottingham, and the bookies had awarded him with the best odds.
However, the young hound was unable to meet expectations of his fans, and finished second by two and three quarters of a length. He will need to improve his speed in order to claim the Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy Final, today.
There is a solid chance for, Bowtime Sykes, to finish on top today, as he is in great form right now. The bookmakers have got a lot of confidence in his abilities, but he will have to be at his best to challenge his opponents.
