  1. work out 3/7 of 56... easy way to do it divide 56 by 7 and times the answer by 3 56 / 7 = 8 times by 3 = 24  hope it helps xx

  2. From the information given, it is impossible to say how many were not from skyway airlines.

You said that three sevenths of them were from skyway -- but you did not say that the rest were not from skyway.

If all of them were from skyway, then you can say that three sevenths of them were from skyway.  After all,  so are three fourths of them, so are half of them, and so on.

Logically, just because some of them are from skyway airlines does not mean that the rest of them are not.

  3. One seventh of 56 is 8.

    So 3/7ths would be 8 x 3 = 21 from skyway airlines.

    So 56 - 21 = 45 were not.

  4. 32 were not

  5. 56 planes divided by 7 equals 8

    (8 planes per seventh)

So (8 planes times 4)  gives you 32 planes.
