Fight Club question?

Ok,I don't understand the whole Tyler Durden blowing up Jack's apartment and had he already started Fight Club before he met Jack?

Did he blow up the apartment before or after meeting Jack?

Well, i ll try to explain

Jack "met" Tyler on the plane (he imagined him, remember they are the same person) when he got home, his apartment was burned, Jack did this himself, under Tyler "influence"....  Jack calls Tyler and asks him to pick him up, THEN is when they start fighting, and invent the Fight Club...

Of course, as Jack is the one that tells the story, and he s not a  balanced man, is difficult for us to know as an audience if things really happened in that order.... cause Tyler and Jack are the same person
