These movies have in common the double personality, Does that actually happens for real to people with schizophrenia? and how real is it? How can be possible that they are unable to remember anything at all?

  1. Schizophrenia is something else. What those movies show is Dissociative Identity Disorder (what used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder). It's controversial how "real" it is. But it is a valid diagnosis in the DSM-IV (which is the list of "official" psychiatric diagnoses in the U.S.).  


  2. Schizophrenia is way different then dissociative identity disorder. for example, DID, its the same person. Schizophrenia, its one person with hallucinations of another, and more people

  3. It is called Multiple Personality Disorder or Disassociative Identity Disorder.
