Fighter Pilot in ANG OR AIR FORCE?

What would be the difference in becoming a fighter pilot in the Air National Gaurd or the US air force? And how their duties differ? Please help

It'd be basically the same job since ANG is a reserve component to the Air Force. ANG is in charge of patrolling the nations borders but also deploy. Pilot slots in the ANG are harder to get, let alone a fighter slot. You'd probably be better off going active duty.

No difference.. Same training -- same flight schools. The ANG pilot's may spend a little More time in the simulators because they may not fly as often as their Active Duty counterparts.
