Fighting Cockroaches?

Question

My friend tells me that animal rights activists are trying to stop fight cockroaches in some asian countries. Something about the gambling component of these "showdowns".

I think this is a crock! Please help us decide a Winner!

I think you have posted in the wrong catagory.  Unless you are making an analogy between Obama and McCain, the issue of cockroach fighting in asian countries is not really a political issue.  But thanks for trying.

To answer your question, some animal activists have taken things too far.  They should concentrate on issues much more serious than cockroach fighting.

I didn't know cockroaches would even fight one another.

Now, I think it may be unworthy of the human spirit to make cockroaches fight; but insects don't have the brain structure necessary to experience suffering, so at least it's a lot better than fighting bears or roosters or dogs.....
