Question:

Fighting shyness..Any details?

Well, I´m very shy..(to give you a general idea, it takes about a year till I start talking to someone I like..)But after I know them really well, I tend to become their best friend. Problem is: I must be forced to talk to someone and when I am in a place where I dont know anyone, I look..err..lets say..mean and cocky..Which I´m not..

Any advises?

  1. try practicing in front of a mirror first, talk to your mom or dad. when you are ready, talk to someone. Start slow. It takes a lot of time to get over shyness. believe me, I've had it too. DO anythng that you think will help you.

  2. Keep fighting this until you become the most outgoing person you know...You can overcome this with a little effort by reading daily affirmations written just to and for you. It is in a book online I found and it is a great tool for overcoming shyness and lask of confidence. You have to be friendly on purpose and do it when you don't feel like doing it. You do it untill it becomes second nature to you. YOu can change by changing your own self image.  You are a special and important person.  The world needs for you to share your love and goodness with it...YOU can do it !  People need your smile and your kind hello, how are you... Learn to respect who your are because you are becoming a great person. The fact you are fighting it is proof you will overcome it by changing your pattern of thinking. To be positive and outgoing you have to learn you are important....See this book online at the site below and fill out the first page and you can see your own book.  It's great !!!  It will build you self confidence because you learn you are gifted in special ways..Learn to become the best YOU , you can be !

    You can do it for yourself....Athletes do this all the time to encourage themselves. .You can too ! A daily reading can get you started in believing in yourself !  You must do that for you !!!
