  1. hey i dunno were you live but i live in UK. i pay £48 pound for 6 lessons 1 a week for half an hour.UK LEARN 2 SKATE PROGRAM. But if u want to compete u need ballet class, private ice training so it will be more pricey.relly depends on where u live and how far you wanna go in sport.

i just got skates 2day they cost me £99 pound, but can be cheaper or a lot dearer, depends what yew want. dresses can be expesife but can always be made from a leotard and sewin skirt on.

people say it is relly expensife but it don't have to be, just got 2 use some imagination and compare price in diferent places.

  2. you can probably get skates for like 50 dollars somewhere probably cheaper on sale

im not sure about lesssons, somewhat expensive i'd guess=\

  3. its an expensive sport.

lessons are less in cost if its a group class (ranges but roughly $200-400 for 2 classes a week for an hour each class).

private lessons are much more expensive (roughly $20+ for 1/2 hour.)

depending on your skating level, skates increase upto hundreds of dollars. if your just beginner expect your skates to be $50-$150.

  4. First off, I'm gonna say it is costly, very costly.

Usually, when you are a beginner, the skates should be maybe a Jackson and at $75 minimum. My private classes are $38 per half hour, and $110 per month with unlimited practice. Not to mention about every other week, I go to a freestyle session which is around $10 per hour (you don't need freestyle until you are in fs 2 or 3). Also, when you get to fs 3 or so, you should go to low or high stroking. Low is better from fs 1+ and high is better for fs 4+. That extra class is around $20.

Since you are starting, I'd say around $100 per month, myabe $60-70 for private (you prob. only need 2 per month) and around $75 for your first skates. You'll also need them sharpened every while or so, that's around $10.
