Figure Skating Question..Please answer! =]?

Okayy...

I have been Figure Skating for almost 3 years Now and I was just double checking with something...

How much Do you have to wipe the skates?..

i have wiped them dry But not really really dry...

The main thing is to get the snow off. then just wipe them a bit and hopefully you have soakers(things you put on the balde to collect extra water). if you don't then you should think about buying some. if u don't have them u should wipe them fully dry.

Well if theres no rust on them then what your doing now should be fine.  If you want to do more wipe them off as much as possible, put soakers on them, and as soon as you get home take the soakers off and leave your skates and soakers out to dry.  You should leave your skates out to dry after skating in them in general because the leather needs a chance to dry out too.

Well you always want to make sure you get all the snow off. Then make sure you can get as much of the water that you can off. You should have soakers to put on them also. If there is no rust on your skates you are probably doing it right. Also you should wax the bottom of your skates so that they do not get too soft from the water.

Make sure you have soakers to put on your blades never keep your gards on your skates when your not wearing your skates only have your gards on your skates when your walking in your skates. never walk around in your skates unless you have gards on .
