Figure skate boot length!!!?

For my figure skates, should i be able to stick two fingers into the boot or have my foot be able to touch each end?

  1. For boots you need to be able to stick your fingers in the back, and wiggle your toes.


  2. to make sure, take out the sole of your boot and put your bare foot on it. remember to do this while standing. if your toes go over the sole, your boot is too small. if your foot is way smaller than the sole (like a half an inch) then the boot is too big.

    being able to stick two fingers in the boot is perfectly normal. i can do that in my boot too. if you think its too much then you can get a smaller width.

  3. that should be fine as long as you can still move your toes. you should also think about whether your foot is done growing or not.  if they are, your skates should be fine as long as your are not uncomfortably pressing because that will cause injury to yourself. if your feet still need room to grow, then you should start looking for another pair of skates.
