  1. goof off is a good product and wipe it down with that then wax the boot down and then your "STICKY" situation should be taken care of.

good luck with getting the stickies off!!!: )

  2. Acetone based nail polish remover will usually get tape residue off.

  3. Here is what Mr. Edge suggests (from USFSA site) . . .

"After removing the tape from your boots, take a very absorbent paper towel or soft cotton cloth and simply pour some Goo Off or Goo Gone on it. Quickly – but lightly – rub off the glue residue. You'll need to rotate the towel around, and be sure to pour on enough solvent, keeping the towel or cloth continually moist."

Perhaps the company that puts out Sk8tape should not claim that it does not leave residue - we all know it does!!

  4. get some Goo Gone....should be at almost any walmart type store

  5. You can take a cloth put alittle water on the cloth.Make sure the cloth is not dripping and make sure it HAS a REALLY small amount of water on the cloth. Then you scrub the part of your skate with the tape resadue on it. Then wipe your skate dry.Hope this helps you!!I skate and i tried this.
