um, i think you might be talking about forums. but im not sure if you can talk to just one person, but more like a whole group, or whoever joins the forum. here are a few figure skating forum websites:

There are figure skating forums . . . not email, but you can post a thread and have discussions (it's not like the Y!A format).  Check them out . . . you just have to go through the index to see what categories you want to post in.
