  1. Try your best. Keep practicing. Do it over and over again. Until you master it.

  2. I DONT KNOW BUT THE BEST HELP I CAN GIVE YOU IS BALANCE, IF YOU BALANCE YOURSELF YOU CAN GO VERY FAR, SORRY I CANT HELP U ANYMORE

  3. If you are hooking your landings, sounds like you need to JUMP HIGHER.  You need more "hang time" to complete the rotation in the air - not on the ice.

Besides just aiming for a high jump, you need to keep yourself pulled up at the peak of your jump . . . as if you're floating up there as long as you can.  Keep your shoulders down and body straight - arms in tight, elbows down - leg crossed, toe pointed down.  Feel like you're being held up by string going through the center of your head (like a marionette puppet).  You can practice this off ice without rotation . . . first jump straight up and do a nothing jump (for comparison) - then do it keeping yourself pulled up, concentrating on hang time.  Try to go higher each time, like you want your head to touch the sky (or ceilng - hee hee).  Of course the deeper you bend, the higher you jump . . . the more you keep yourself pulled up, the longer hang time you have.  Then you can try that with the off ice rotation exercises which you probably already do.

For now, it may be good to "spot" your landings in your jumps so you don't get "lost" in the air.  Say like if you do your double loop, you know you're supposed to land in the same direction as when you entered the it.  Sometimes putting your head in the correct direction will help to lead the rest of the body to land when it's supposed to.

When you do combination jumps, you especially have to go into the first jump with more power as the answerer above mentioned.  Speed would help greatly, but you have to keep it controlled.  Everyone naturally loses steam with each jump in a combo jump (you see it with many of the big time skaters . . . the last jump can look kinda "curly" in the landing).  That first jump must be solid for a better chance of a successful combo.  A curly landing on your first jump is going to make you lose power for setting up your second jump . . . so really concentrate on doing individual jumps well by themselves.

If anything else, you might try working on stomach muscles (more core strength) - in which something like pilates can help with greatly . . . it's something that has to be worked on off the ice.  Sometimes skaters will sort of bend at the waist a bit in the air, and that doesn't help with a high jump or hang time.

Anyway, hope that helps!!  Best of luck!

  4. Firstly i find it quite weird that you have so many jumps that your not landing perfectly. Never move on to the next jump unless the previous one is absolutely PERFECT.

Ok im done moaning now. The no 1 reason for not landing any jump clean is from lack of power.  And how do you get more power? You have to skate a lot faster, swing your arms up very high and as you land get into the habit of puting one foot extended - even if you have not completed the correct amount of rotations.

If you explain exactly what you mean by 'cheat' i will try to help further.

(best answer wouldnt harm me ;)

  5. definitely make sure that you are pulling in completely.

the closer your hands to your body the better.

And also, check your foot position. s it pulled in tight?

leaving your foot out too far will reduce your speed, thus reducing your revolutions.

also, off ice and trampoline classes help.
