  1. Well, I`m 13 and I am from the U.S. The best jump I can do is a shakey double salchow, so I think you are at the right level. There are girls at my rink who are like 16 and just learning to skate and you`re 14 already doing jumps! There is no "right" level or age for skating. If you practice hard and do well, you will catch up to your friends in no time! Good luck:)

  2. Well- I am 14 and I am a competitor. I am doing axles and double loops. But- I started 3 years ago. So, it really all depends on when you started skating. If anything- you are above the average level for starting 10 months ago. If you are on level ten, that means you passed a level each month. It took me 6 weeks to pass each of my levels- and I even got held back on some. I hope I helped.

  3. it depends on how fast you learn and how hard you work. There is no correct leval to be on(i'm on the same leval as some 10 year olds and 17 year olds and i'm 14) it just depends on how often you skate and how well you learn and practice. Just keep working hard!!!

  4. i am the same age as you

andi also live in england ;D

and i started skating lessons about 6 months ago

    i am working on gold/nisa 1

but i know people who are still on levels much lower

there is no right or wrong level your supposed to be on by now

because you may find some things harder than others

you may go through the lower levels slowly and then find something hard later on

but then it could be the other way around

it also depends on how many lessons a week you have

some people have 1 (like mee;) but some people i know have 3 or 4 . there are so many different factors that go into it

    but overall

in my opinion you are doing fine ;D

  5. Everyone learns at a different rate, and as long as you are learning and enjoying it then you are moving along at the right rate for you. Good luck and have fun!
