Figuring out a radio frequency?

alright, so yeah. i need to find out a radio frequency of a fast food restaurant (McDonalds), i've seen it done before.

how is it done?

thanks.

also what equiptment will a need? i heard just a walkie talkie is all you need?

  1. Frequency for what, the drive through?

    ADD:

    If you are looking for the drive through frequency, then you can look those up yourself on the internet.  Many resources exist on the internet then when I was looking up frequencies for those things in the mid '90s.  You can visit the FCC website, since these uses of radio spectrum is public record.  Other website exist with listings of these frequencies.  Of course, if you have patience, you can get a radio with VFO and scan the band like I did.  These have been on the VHF business band, but I don't know if they moved them since and some places aren't on the business band because Law Enforcement is close to the VHF business band.
