Figuring out to to setup shutter speed on my Sony DSC-H10?

I would like to know how to setup my camera so i can take pics at night. have that shutter speed effect

  1. You can use Program mode and turn off the flash.  Use ISO 100.  The camera will usually pick the largest aperture value and a long shutter speed.  You need to have a tripoid to hold your camera.  Use self timer to release the shutter and this will avoid vibration when you press the button.  You can also try the Twilight mode.
