I'm having trouble figuring out which Graduate program to pursue...I'm considering Counseling Psychology, Guidance Counseling, Social Work...something along those lines. Is there a website or some serious questions I can ask myself to help me decide?

  1. Try here:

I went to Arizona State.  It was an AWESOME program.  You should really look into it.  The City of Tempe is AWESOME as is the school, it's affordable and the instructors are GREAT!  Have them send you info!

  2. To answer that question, think about what you really want to do. I'm sort of in the same boat myself (although I'm not trying to go the counseling psychology route).

If I were you, I'd look into schools that have each of those programs, look at research that's been done by faculty, see how their practicum works, things like that...

For example, I know that the counseling program at my current school does practicum mostly at a state prison.
