I had a judgement (ganish) on my paycheck. I am in debt for at $13,000.00. Can I file a bankruptcy(something called public junction)? Do I need a lawyer? Can someone give some contact number or some professional people I can find to help me? Thanks

  1. You can file bankruptcy. You may have to file a repayment plan and pay something but you can stop the garnishment.

Since you seem to be clueless about the process you should consult an attorney.  Other than advice to seek professional help and not do in yourself, you will get nothing of value in this forum.
