Question:

Filipino Breakfast?

I plan on making breakfast for my mother on Mother's Day. She hasn't been to the Philippines for more than 30 years, so I would like to make her food from her homeland.

Please note that I do not have access to a filipino food market nearby, nor am I an experienced cook (though I have made filipino corned beef once!)

If you can tell me a recipe/provide a link to one, that would be nice!

Thanks to all who reply :)

You fry it until tender and brown. Serve with fried rice and scramble eggs.
