  1. Rudolpho was a wise mouse. He had 100 children and 1000 grandchildren.

One day, his oldest son asked him "Father, if find some cheese and, knowing that my family is hungry and needs the cheese and my wife has just had 10 baby mice and is tired and wants some cheese but doesn't have any, would it be wrong for me to eat the cheese and not tell my hungry wife".

Rudolpho asked his son "What sort of cheese is this cheese that you have found?"

"No Dad" said the oldest son "It's a rhetorical question. I'm not actually saying i've found some cheese, i'm simply asking whether or not it would be wrong for me to eat it if I did find some".

"Yes" said Rudolpho "I understand that. However, for arguments sake, what sort of cheese would it be?.

"A soft Cheese" said the oldest son.

"Brie?" enquired Rudolpho. "No" replied the oldest son, "Camembert".

Rudolpho thought for a while before turning to his son and saying "Yes son, that would be wrong".

  2. Rizal's story of the monkey and the turtle is a good example.  Here we have two animal characters, the monkey, who is pictured as a scheming rascal, and the turtle, portraying innocence, even naivette before the world.  The fable carries the message that the good always triumph in the end, though at the beginning everything seems to be stacked against him.
