Whatever OFWs make overseas, it is definitely waaaaay more when compared to staying in the Philippines.

I believe we make enough to make a difference in the foreign exchange rate.

Further, I believe teachers make a modest percentage of the total.

No need to correct the redundancy.   It may stand for Filipino Overseas Fantastic Workers (OFW),  or Overseas Fabulous Workers, Funny, Fiery, Filibustering, whatever.
