  1. Sweet rice is called Biko.  Sinuk-mane and bibingka in Tagalog.

  4. It's not actually sweet; only does become sweet when mixed with sugar or in our dialect, "kamay" or in Spanish "azucal" and cooked like our famous native delicacies "biko",  "champorado", "p**o maya", "p**o dayon"....also "paella".

    In Bisaya, it is called "pilit".  In Tagalog, it's "malagkit".  And yes, it becomes sticky when cooked hence their names.
