I am voting for Obama because I can't stand another 4 years of the Republican mess. If you are a registered voter and, indeed, plan to vote in November, do you vote McCain or Obama. And why?

  1. i share snvffy's views

  2.   Will vote for McCain as he is against abortion and same s*x marriage. Obama is for both of these issues. So which one do you support?

Also we are in a war against terrorism. To late to run away now. We must take a stand and fight. How about the war in the BIBLE  in the book of Joshua. There was the battle of Ai. God was behind it and he is behind our country the Good ole USA too.

  3. I am for OBAMA because McCain will appoint all conservatives in the SUPREME COURT and you don't want that to happen because the first thing they will do is reverse  Roe v. Wade.

His record on contraception and s*x education is just as bad. He voted against a 2005 budget amendment, sponsored by Senator Hillary Clinton, that would have allotted $100 million to reduce teen pregnancy by means of education and birth control. He voted to require parental consent for birth control for teenage girls and to abolish Title X, which funds birth control and gynecological care for the poor. He voted against requiring insurance companies to pay for prescription contraception, when they pay for other prescription drugs--like, um, Viagra. The beat goes on, and on.

  4. Man......you truly don't know what it means to be a Filipino-American. You know your not supposed to reveal publicly whom your going to vote for Presidency, it's been a tradition that dates back years ago.

Ha ha ha ha! Nobody wants to answer your question!!!!

  5. I am amused by some of the answers here.  It seems that they have made a decision based on a literal handful or even a couple of issues that if you think about it have no direct impact of their lives and immediate environs.

One mentions that he will vote for McCain primarily because of opposition to abortion and same s*x marriage.  I'm thinking why does it matter that much to him/her since these situations would be the least likely events to happen to this prude...er...I mean this upstanding citizen's life of apparent sinless perfection.

Moral issues are the domain of the church, whoever your God is and of course your family and closest friends--not the government and should never be the core factor for deciding who's going to rule over you every 4 years.

For me, I worry about the spiraling costs of goods/healthcare, social security and of course my job. That and the fact that billions of dollars of our taxpayer money is being spent getting thousands of mostly innocent people killed in Iraq. That's what affects me most and directly.

That's how we should all vote.

  6. Since I'm not a stockholder of any oil companies or WalMart, I think I'll vote for the guy who is most likely to do something that will help my poor a.s.s.  It amazes me that people still spew that same old tired rhetoric we've been hearing for at least the past 8 years.  They still think that dung heap with a candle in it is a birthday cake I guess.  I'm not g*y and I don't care who is.  I don't care if they marry each other or a wild cat.  I'll never have an abortion or even have to make that decision.  I'll go to church on Sunday or not go to church.  I'll pray to my dirty socks if I want to.  Its all MY choice and as long as this is America, I'll make my own d**n choices.  Anybody who can't deal with that can go to h**l.
