Inzaghi and Del Piero are in the twilight of their careers, and are still playing professional football aged 38 and 37 respectively. The Juventus striker recently scored his first goal of the 2011/12 season in a Coppa Italia game
against AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603. Inzaghi insisted that he is happy for the Juve legend, and believes that he plays with great passion and deserves the plaudits.
While talking to the reporters, Inzaghi insisted,
“I was happy for him. Ale, like me, lives football with great passion and professionalism. He deserves everything he gets.”
Del Piero’s second-goal in his team’s 3-0 win over the Giallorossi drew him level on goals with Inzaghi. The duo have scored 287 goals in their club career so far, and are just four goals behind Roberto Baggio’s record.
The Rossoneri striker insisted that he and Del Piero will do everything to beat Baggio’s record. He insisted that their hunger in training and on the field is secret to their success, and despite not getting enough playing time,
they will keep fighting.
“We will do everything to catch Baggio. Our secret? We are never satisfied. Now we train so much and play little, but we will still not give up. We always have new objectives.”

that lure of trophies will always drive them forward.
“It would be nice to meet in the Coppa Italia semi-finals. Time passes, but we’re still people and the affection for the prize is all the more beautiful.”
Milan and Juve are also fighting for the Scudetto, as the Turin giants are top in the league table, while the Italian Champions are only one point behind them in the second spot.
