The Rossoneri striker’s brother has revealed that the veteran will leave the Milan outfit this summer, but believes that there is still much that the Italian can give to football.

The veteran goalscorer will turn 39 by the start of the next season, and has scarcely featured for the Rossoneri in the ongoing campaign. Moreover, he has also struggled with his fitness, and is not favoured by Coach Massimiliano Allegri for his starting
line-up.
Simone Inzaghi insisted that the striker’s career at the Milan outfit is nothing short of legendary, and stated that the club will dearly feel the departure of their star figure.
The Italian goalscorer’s sibling stated that despite his age, Pippo is still in a strong physical shape, and can carry on playing football for at least a couple of years. He added that the Rossoneri striker’s skill and experience makes him a valuable asset,
and there is a lot that he can give to the game.
While talking to Tuttomercatoweb, the 36-year-old said:
“Pippo has made history with Milan and is genuinely impacted by his departure. He is grateful to the Rossoneri for what they have done, but I think there is also gratitude from the club and the fans for him too. Pippo is still physically fit and knows he
can play on for a couple more years. Managed in the right way he can still give so much to football.”
Simone went on to admit that the Diavolo attacker’s recent relationship with AC Milan has been a frustrating one. Inzaghi’s younger brother insisted that the veteran goalscorer is undecided on his future destination, but assured that his affair with football is far from over.
