Filling in council form by law?

Question

im getting threatened with bailiff action after a liability order, even though ive been offering monthly payments to council getting ignored, should i send a letter to bailiffs offering them monthly payments?

the form that i have to return to council by law, asks for my employment details>> im unemployed, do i still have to give my national insurance number and date of birth?

will they check up on those details and what would they find out from those details?

help - just trying to get this solved and to pay it up monthly :0(

Yes you must give those details. With them they will check all of your income sources and your bank accounts. They will check with HMRC to see if you have declared any employer or sources of eranings. They will cjeck where you hold a bank account. They will check with DVLA if you have a registered vechile. The Liability Order allows them to do this.

Go and see your local Council offices right away and speak to someone on your case, if you explain that you have some money to pay there and then and wish to catch up with under payments they will work out something that you can afford, the worst thing that you can do is ignore letters and do nothing.
