Sarah Lynx’s connections opted for the Canadian International over the 10 furlong long Grade 1 E.P. Taylor Stakes for fillies and mares, and they were spot on because the 1 ½  mile distance suited the filly more than the 10 furlong distance.
The daughter of Montjeu, out of Steel Princess by Danehill, Sarah Lynx became the first female to win the since 1988 to win the Canadian International Stakes and has now surpassed $ 1million in career earnings, the last filly to do so was Infamy.
