Question:

Filo Stroke?

I've noticed that most Filo pool players have a long, wavy stroke with their cue. I've tried this and just can't seem to control it as well as when I have a short bridge length (around 28cm). How do they do it?

PS I'm Filo

  1. How do they do it?

    Ask a seasoned Filo pro.

In any case, I suggest developing your own stroke ---whatever is most comfortable, practical, and works best for YOU.

    Keep on strokin' !

  2. Johnny and Loriann are right.  Just work on what feels right and works best for you.  Trying to imitate other players stroke, especially when they look loose and complex is not the way to go.  I have seen so many guys with great stroke, but bad mechanics that you wouldn't think they could pocket a ball how they shoot that if you tried to copy what they were doing you'd be so messed up.  Now if you still want to try to imitate some mechanics, watch some Alison Fisher matches.  Good luck, and keep rackin em up!

  3. Just use your best one I cant shoot like that either

If I play 10 diffrent players I see 9 diffrent amounts of stroke mine is about mid range i guess .But just find what works for you
