Is there an "add on" filter I can buy and install myself for my Fridge, well Freezer (for the ice)

There isn't one on there and would love it to be filtered water AND ice.

Thanks!!

PS - if there is such a thing how much does it cost?

  1. You can install an "inline" carbon filter that installs by using compression fittings.....you cut the line and put one end in each end of the filter then tighten the compression fittings.  The filter will normally come with the fittings installed.  Keep in mind that carbon filters are taste, odor and chlorine eliminators.....read the individual package for the things that it removes.  If you want pure water, you'll have to install some type of pure water system, such as Reverse Osmosis, U.V or Distillation.

  2. You can get everything you need in a kit from home depot or lowes.  I want to say they're about $30 but not sure.

  3. In Soviet Russia, refridgerator filters you!
