I think im going to contact the APA (animal protection agency) should I?

I was at a market and they had a "pet store" my husband and I are not animal people but decided to go in the place smelled so bad i cant even describe it and they had these HUGE rabbits in small cages to wear they couldnt do anything but lay down. one of the kittens had sickly looking diarhea the place was at least 90 degrees onthe inside. it was horrible and my heart broke for these animals can /would the apa do anything about this?

also I dont think they even give vaccination b.c the place was really dumpy and they had a sign that said have unwanted pets maybe we can help

  1. Please contact the APA! That is so cruel. I am such an animal lover and i hate to hear that this is true. Please.. you can save the animals lives

  2. these people need to be reported ASAP! unfortunely though the very sick animals will more than likely be euthanized...due to be uncared for for so long. but think of it like this, they wont suffer after that.

it is the right thing for you to do! i work for a vet, so i see these cases for often than i would like.

  3. please please please call the apa!

    save lifes

  4. Report them if you know what they are doing is cruel. Obviously the heat is an issue. But you said you aren't pet people. A bunny in a pet store is ok in a small cage because they are only there a few days.  Kittens often have diarrhea especially if they take in  rescues from shelters.

Most pet stores do not give vaccinations. Kittens usually get them before they come there or they have a vet that comes and does it for them.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just make sure you are educated about what your valid complaints are.
