Final Cut Pro Question?

Ok i know how to separate the video from the Audio but when i do, i try deleting the video but it deletes the audio also, does anyone know how to JUST delete the video and NOT the audio.

when you have the two on the time line lock the audio on the left side of the time line. this will lock anything in that row. then delete the video. works both ways.
