Do you think these games, if black label, will go up in value, even if they aren't sealed?

And what bout if they are sealed?

Thanks

  1. i doubt it.  the older the game(s) the less the value.  I found my FFX-2 disc not to long ago and went to trade it in and i got like 6 bucks trade in credit.  You could sell it on ebay for 5 times.  Also if you want to get rid of it try a web site that you trade video games with other people

  2. I'm an avid collector of RPGs, and as much as I would love my black label PS1 Final Fantasy Anthology/Chronicles/Origins to increase in value, unfortunately there's really no way to tell.  Sealed copies will obviously always be worth quite a bit more than open copies as a new versions of anything OOP(out of print) always are.  However these values also change based on the market and what gets re-released over the years.  The original FF  games have had so many re-releases that I've noticed that even the originals from NES and SNES have dropped dramatically.  However other games that never get re-released stateside tend to keep their value no matter how old they get(ex: Suikoden II, Tactics Ogre etc.)  I hope for your sake and my own that their value increases, but remember, always hope for the best and prepare for the worst.  Hope that helps!
