Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts?

Question

Now, this is kind of a detailed question, so:

1] Which came first, Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts?

2] In order, what all all the games in the series, respectively?

3] What consoles do the games come on?

And finally: 4] Could you please tell me any other basic information someone looking to buy the games would need?

Final Fantasy came first and it has had 12 episodes, but about 10 spinoffs(different types) and a lot of movies. Kingdom Hearts came out later and has had two episodes.... these two game have actually been on basically all sony consoles like the playstations and psp and the NES... the next game is going to be bpth final fantasy and kingdom hearts together in one game... for xbox 360 also...not just for the greedy ps3,, i hoped this helped you...and even though i did not answer first this is by far the FIRST BEST answer

and the order of the games is confusing, but it doesnt matter on the order cuz the games dont really connect with each other (final fantasy)

most of the games are on ps2 psp and ps3

  Ok these are my favorite games so i can help. Final Fantasy came out over a decade before on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. Kingdom Hearts first appeared on the Playstation 2 in 2002.

  The Final Fantasy games are in no order even though they are numbered. None have the same characters. They are all their own story completely separate from the others. The only exceptions are Final Fantasy Ten-Two (X-2) which is a spin of of Ten with the same characters and The Final Fantasy Tactics games are all different but use many of the same character names. There are currently 12 core games numbered 1-12. 11 as an online game with monthly fees and many expansions. The rest are single player and on most systems now. The older ones were remade on newer systems. Final Fantasy 13 will be on the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360. There are also many final fantasy games all over the place.

  Kingdom Hearts only has 2 games so far both on Playstation 2. Kingdom Hearts 2 is the sequel to the first. 2 more are planned on the PSP, Nintendo DS. Kingdom Hearts 3 is on the way but the system is unknown. The PSP game is a prequel to the first. The DS game is a Spin off as far as i know.
