if i remeber right you just talk to cid, and a map of spira pops up.

you cna manually move around to find some of the hidden stuff, which i think are Baaj temple (anima), the outcrop on besaid, and a bit fo the battlfield from the scene with the big al-bhed laser and hte crusaders near djose.

there are soem passwords too, i can only rmeber GODHAND off the top of my head, which takes you to a palce with Rikkus ultimate weapon.

i know i was able to google a cheat site for this, i just can't remember. that was from twon years ago.
