Final Fantasy XII Help?

In Final Fantasy XII. I've been in the desert for like A LONG time and i cant find that **bleep**ing tomatoe thing. am i stupid?! i heard its supposed to be under the cliff with the cherry blossom on top but there are like 4 of those.

When you first enter go straight and it should be on a cliff with a cherry tree on it. Attack it.

leave and come back to the desert because it is under the cliff you need to ignore the wolfs once you find the tomatoe kill the wolfs annd hen kill the tomatoe and then leave the desert

Be sure you have accepted the hunt from Tomaj.  Just seeing it on the board is not enough.  Enter the Estersand and head downhill toward the cliff with the tree.  Off to the right you should get a glimpse of the Wild Saurian--stay away from it until you are much stronger!  Take out the wolves around the tomato-thing first.  Tomato isn't that difficult, but once you knock his HP down to about a quarter, he will jump off the cliff and you'll have to run him down.  Keep an eye out for the Saurian (he has a green bar so he won't attack you unless you start attacking his dinner(wolves) or attack him).

Find the tomato at the bottom of the cliff where he jumped from and take him out.  Just a note:  There will be quite a few more agressive vegetables to deal with later in the game!

it is really hard to see, but you need to look at the map to see a red X in order to see it and once you see the red X, go and try to kill it, but it'll eventually jump off of a cliff and you will follow him down below and finish the fight off.
