Final Grades? How are they done?

How are the final grades for the end of the year figured out? Do they average all 4 quarters to come up with the final grade?

In my school the final grade is the average of the four quarter grades and the final

so its:

Q1 + Q2 + Q3 + Q4 + F / 5=final grade

No. The grade system averages up the two semester grades, giving you your final grade.
