Part 5: Final Squad Listing Of the English Premier League (Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and the Wolves)

Stoke City F.C: Stoke Coty actually has more than half of his squad home grown and therefore the manager did not even have to announce any removals from the first team. He later announced a full twenty five man squad which limits the maximum number of players you can have playing from a single club.
The Final squad includes: Asmir Begovic, Danny Collins, Rory Delap, Salif Diao, Matthew Etherington, Abdoulaye Faye, Ricardo Fuller, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Danny Higginbotham, Robert Huth, Kenwyne Jones, Carlo Nash, Jermaine Pennant, Danny Pugh, Ryan Shawcross, Thomas Sorensen, Tuncay Sanli, Ryan Shotton, Tom Soares, Michael Tonge, Jonathan Walters, Glenn Whelan, Dean Whitehead, Andy Wilkinson, and Marc Wilson.
Wigan Athletic F.C: ‘The latics’ seem to have taken a taken their chances as the Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has announced only a small squad of nineteen players and have failed to meet the minimum requirements for the home grown quota and have only seven home grown players in their team.
The Wigan Athletic squad officially announced is as follows: Gary Caldwell, Ben Watson, Hendry Thomas, Ronnie Stam, Jordi Gomez, Hugo Rodallega, Mohamed Diame, Maynor Figueroa, Steve Gohouri, Chris Kirkland, Mike Pollitt, Charles N'Zogbia, Emmerson Boyce, Daniel De Ridder, Ali Al-Habsi, Antolin Alcaraz, James McArthur, and Mauro Boselli.
Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C: The Wanderers did not have much trouble in deciding the final line up of their squad, as they didn’t need to sacrifice any players.
The wolves already had fifteen home grown players in the twenty five man squad list so this means that the home grown quota did not affect them and they were free to choose and bring on whomever they wanted.
The final Wolverhampton Wanderers Football club list goes as follows: Dave Edwards, Greg Halford, Nenad Milijas, Adlene Guedioura, Matt Jarvis, Stephen Hunt, Kevin Doyle, Steven Fletcher,Ronald Zubar, Richard Stearman, Jody Craddock, Christophe Berra, Steven Mouyokolo, George Elokobi, Stephen Ward, Jelle van Damme, Karl Henry, David Jones, Michael Mancienne, Steven Fletcher, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Marcus Bent, Marcus Hahnemann, Wayne Hennessey, Carl Ikeme, Kevin Foley.
Now as the season starts it will be decided if keeping a small and tight squad without the big names in them would do better or the squad full of stars will over shine them.
As the transfer window is closed for the next four months. Clubs will have to make do with whatever they have now, as no moves will be allowed any time before January.
