  1. I do not know what is wrong w/ our mic, but I will explain how to make your mono audio track into a stereo track. I will assume it is a stereo track already, but only has sound on one track.

    1. Select your audio tack that only has one channel of sound by clicking on it.

    2. Choose Modify>Stereo Pair. (uncheck the stereo pair option)

      a. If you recorded the audio with the video, Select the audio and accompanying video track simultaneously and choose Modify>Link. (Just make sure the Link option is not checked)

    3. Delete the channel that has no sound (either L or R)

    4. Select the channel that has sound by clicking on it.

    5. Copy it by either choosing Edit>Copy or CMD + C.

    6. Place the playhead at the end of your project somewhere where there is no video or audio to interfere with.

    7. Paste by choosing Edit>Paste or CMD + V.

    8. Now drag the audio track back to the original location, but instead of dropping it on the original track, drag it onto the opposite track. (If it was on A1, drag onto A2. If it was on A2, drag onto A1, etc.) Make sure the beginning of your 'new' audio track is aligned with the beginning of the original audio track.

    9. Now select both of the audio tracks (L & R) by holding down the Shift or Command Key while clicking each of them.

    10. Choose Modify>Stereo Pair (make sure the option is checked).

    11. If the audio and video tracks were linked originally, select the audio and video tracks simultaneously and choose Modify>Link.

Hope this is clear and helpful.  Feel free to email me with questions.
