Final cut pro and Mpeg2 HELP!!!!?

HI,

I need help quickly regarding final cut pro and exporting Mpeg2 to dvd studio. The thing is when I export my film in h...264 the quality is absolutely great, but when I export as Mpeg2 the quailty is totally horrible. I can only import h.264 into dvd studio, does anyone know why the quality is so bad or how to fix it.

  1. You may convert the movie from h264 (mp4) format to mp2 through a convertion software. You try the software namely prism from NCH.com. then your problem would be solved.


  2. What format is your video to start with?  If you're working with H.264 throughout, maybe Finalcut Pro isn't good at converting it to MPEG-2.  Are you sure you're producing DVD compliant MPEG-2 or is DVD Studio having to convert it?
