Finally decided on our daughters name!!!?

Question

Honor Claire emery!

Honor means high respect (i promise i picked this before jessica alba named her daughter!!)

Claire means ilustrious

Emery means leader

I may end up calling her Claire it depends on when I meet her..

But my question is what kind of little girl do you think of when you hear that name?

Please no suggestions we have decided already I just wanted to know what you think..

I like Honor. I liked it when I heard it from Jessica Alba.  Honor Clarisse sounds super cute. Congrats.

I adore Honor, Claire is boring to me, and Emery is masculine (it's a very strong German name that actually means "work and power).

That's how I feel about it. :D I'd much rather you call her Honor than Claire. Claire is done to death.

I think this name will predict the future for your daughter. I'm no psychic but i think she will be quite intellectual. It's a lovely name. Goodluck with your pregnancy!!

Not a fan of Honor.  It's one of those names that you have to use a middle name with, because without one it's, well, indistinguishable, plain, and just not a name.  You said so yourself that you may call her Claire.  Why name her Honor if you may not use it.  My husband goes by his middle name, and let me tell you it's a pain.  He's always correcting people, and nobody can find him in the phone book...  His first name is all over his checks, credit cards... ugh.  He'd like to swap his first and middle name, but that would take a lot of work and money.

I love Claire and Emery (Emery is actually my husband's and son's middle name - it was my husband's g-father's first name).  

Honor is okay, but I knew a woman named Honor and she was a flaky and irresponsible parent of one of my students so that's my perception when I hear that name.

I think Honor is a little intense for a first name. Even something like Honora would have been better. But whatever, I guess it's no worse than Verity or Prudence.

Claire is beautiful.

And I really don't like Emery, but it's a middle name so I won't argue with it. :P
