Question:

Finance Degree VS Math Skills?

I am interested in pursuing a finance degree from The University of Phoenix. I am looking for a career path that interests me and has the possibility to make some good money. I have always been interested in financial planning, stocks, investing, management, etc. This is why I would be interested in learning about the financial feild. My downfall is that math is not my strongest point. I mean I know the basics and if you give me a calculator I am even better. Do you HAVE to be super strong in mathmatics to obtain this degree and get a job in a related feild? Does anyone have a degree in finance? What do you do? Do you enjoy your job? Details please :-)

Thanks

  1. i bet the highest level math that you HAVE to take is cal 2, so you can learn integration (which is very important in calculating finances).  the school should have a list of classes of you need to take to get your degree, look at it and see what the highest math class is.  but really, cal 2 isnt that difficult.
