Finance via Dicksmith etc, GE creditline & HSBC?

Question

Do you have to be 18 to get finance for a laptop via dicksmith etc?

Was thinking of GEcredit line or HSBC, I know the ins and outs, Im getting my tax back soon, so I can pay half of it off in a few weeks, I just need the laptop for work, now.

Im 18 in like, 4weeks.

Do you think they would finance me?

By australian law you must be 18 to sign a credit contract.

Even then with no prior credit history unless you have a large deposit it is unlikley you will get finance without

a) full time job

b) a guarantor.
