  1. you can get grants. my daughter got her degree in early childhood education and it was paid in full with extra $ because i am low income. you go through the college and ask them what is available. i know one of the grants my daughter got was the pell grant. it is alot of bs to go through and every year it is. once you get the hang of who to talk to it gets a little better. DON'T GET A LOAN, you'll regret it. take the time and get what you can free

  2. Being a college student and a parent isn't going to be easy, but it can be done.  The best way to maximize the amount you get refunded to you in Pell is to go to an inexpensive in-state community college.  Your Pell grant will usually pay for all your school expenses and books and fees (if your EFC is 0) and you will have the remaining balance given to you for living expenses.

Yes, you will probably have to go without MANY, MANY things.... cell phone, decent car, medical insurance, but it will be worth it in the end.  Borrow as little as possible, and remember, if you do borrow ... you are committing yourself to graduating and getting a decent job after graduating.

    GOOD LUCK>
