easy i mean im in 7th grade with a high math class (7th in algebra)

  8. 10% is easy--just multiply by .10 (or even easier, stick a decimal point one place to the left of last digit). But, rounding off to the nearest hundredth makes no sense to me. 10% of each would be:

    1.0

    4.9

    6.3

Each of those only goes to the nearest tenth to begin with. ??

  9. just divide each number by 10, so move the decimal point to the left one

    1.00

    4.90

    6.30

  10. Since all the numbers are whole numbers, each of the decimals for the number is zero.  If the decimal is to the right of the last digit of the whole number, move the decimal place right one space.

    The answers are 1, 4.9, and 6.3.

  11. 1.  1

    2.  4.9

    3.  6.3

To get 10% of any number, just move the decimal point one place to the left.
