Find a point of maxima and minima if these exists for the function f(x)=12x^6-4x^4+15x^3-1?

  1. this isnt geography but hey i know the answer sooo....

    differentiate f(x): f'(x)72x^5-16x^3+45x^2

    at stationary point f(x)=0 as gradient =0 yer

    so then just solve f'(x)=0

    stick it into your graphical calculator for the solutions (i cant find mine right now :(  

    then put the x's separately into f''(x)=360x^4-48x^2+90x

    if the answer is negative it is a MAX point and if positive its a MIN
