  1. Question a)

    I = ∫ 3 ( 5 - 2x ) ² dx

    Let u = 5 - 2x

    du = - 2 dx

    ( - 1/2 ) du = dx

    I = ( - 3/2 ) ∫ u ² du

    I = (- 1/2) u ³ + C

    I = (- 1/2) (5 - 2x) ³ + C

    Question b)

    This may be read as :-

    (x² √2) x + 1

    OR

    x² √(2x) + 1

    OR

    x² √(2x + 1)
