Find each name and amts they owe on multiple worksheets. Some are listed several times on different sheets.

Question

There are 6 events (each on a different worksheet tab) that lists each contestant who entered. Sometimes they enter one event several times, and often they enter several events, so there name could be found several times on each of the 6 worksheets. Each worksheet shows how much they owe for each time they entered. I want help figuring out how to find each name and each amount from every worksheet to let me know what the total is for everything the owe in all events (a grand total, per say). I use Excel 2007. Any help is appreciated!!!!

Create a new worksheet.

Copy and paste each of the existing worksheets to the new one.

Sort on name and, if necessary address/phone number.

You can then have to go through and set up add instructions for each participant.

If you know someone who knows Access it would be much easier to do it with a database since a database program can easily calculate the totals for each participant instead of you having to do it by hand.
