Find host Family?

I from Vietnam, I want come to houston to study. I want to find host family to stay for study.How can i know about that? Can you give me information and phone number that i can contact.

You want to go to Houston to study. Have you applied and been accepted by a university yet? If so, the university can help you identify housing opportunities. If you are younger and looking at a Student Exchange program, the program will help you.

This is NOT the way to get a host family!

If you are a high school student, you need to go through a reputable exchange student program. You can find a list of those certified to operate in the U.S. at www.csiet.org.

If you are a college student, first you must be accepted at the university. Once that happens, you can contact either the international student center or campus housing. They will have a list of people who rent to students. Some people will rent specifically to exchange students.

Be aware, if you come as a high school student, your host family is part of the fee -- you don't pay extra. If you are a college student, you must pay rent.
