What is the molar concentration of H3O in a 5.80x10-3M aqueous solution of a weak diprotic acid H2Y if its Ka1 is equal to 3.8x10-9and Ka2 is equal to 8.9x10-17.

    Ka1 = [H+] [HY-] / [H2Y]

    3.8e-9 = [x] [x] / [5.8e-3]

    x2 = 2.2e-11

    x = {H3O+] = 4.69e-6 Molar
