Former Pakistani fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board management and the national selectors to instil new pace talent in the national team.
Speaking to media reporters on Sunday, the former speedster insisted that the national team is lacking in the pace bowling department and he believes that is the reason behind the team’s poor showing against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in the ongoing four-match One Day International
Series. Pakistan has lost the opening three games, with one match left to play.
"People talk about talent in Pakistan where is the talent. I think it is about time the authorities started a search for new pace bowling talent from the big cities to remote areas and even in the northern mountainous areas," said Akhtar.

Akhtar also reckoned that Pakistan underestimated England after the Test series whitewash and this provided them a chance to bounce back.
The fourth and last One Day International of the series will be played at Dubai on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
